Aalu Bukhara, alucha or plum is believed to have originated in Central Asia. High quality plums are grown in the remote hills of Uttarakhand which is the source of our delicious Plum chutney.

Plums are considered a rich source of vitamins, minerals and dietary fibre. The dark, rich colour of plums makes them an ideal ingredient for jams, jellies and chutney.

Chutney when literally translated means a substance that can be licked.
